Agent Limits


One of the most common pieces of feedback we receive is for a simpler, Agent-based pricing model. We are excited to be introducing that in July! This won't change your current, trace-based subscription, but it will mean that Agent limits that were previously not enforced now will be starting August 1st, 2023.

Trace Count Agents
5 to 9 1 agent per trace
10 to 24 3 agents per trace
25+ No limit

What happens to my existing Agents?

Existing Agents will continue to function normally. If you are currenlty over your limit, you have a few options:

  • Upgrade your plan. Increase your trace limit until you reach your desired Agent Limit.
  • Adjust your usage. Delete Agents until you are at or below your limit.
  • Customize your plan. If you need more Agents than what is listed, please contact us! We can create a plan that fits your specific needs.
  • Do nothing. On 8/1/23 we will automatically delete Agents from your account starting with those that have the oldest "Last Connect" date.

How will Agent Templates work?

Agent Templates will continue to function in much the same way. Before 8/1/23, Agents will continue to be allowed in. Soon, you'll find an additional option on the template to automatically add Agents that use this template, or move them into the new Agent Lobby for manual approval.

What happens when an Agent tries to connect but I'm already over my limit?

The Agent will be moved into the Agent Lobby with the Subscription Maxed Out message. From there, you'll be able to reject the Agent, choose to upgrade your plan, or delete an existing Agent and admit the new one.
